“I also want to say thank you for your help making our production of Peter Pan a huge success. We averaged over 800 people for our three audiences. Peter’s first entrance, Wendy, Michael and John’s flying lesson, and Peter’s flights over the audience were all greeted with enthusiastic applause as well as audible “wow’s!”. We did both fly overs for the curtain call also - with Peter throwing fairy dust over as much of the audience as he (she) could reach. The laser, dog house, trees, mushroom and the beautiful Tinker Bell house helped immensely also. The audience’s reactions were all very, very positive. You have a wonderful company. I will remember the professionalism as well as the wonderfully warm personalities Sandy and Schu brought to our students and parents. “Rarely do I get the time to actually sit down and write letters, but this one had to be done! This year West Valley High School put on a production of the RSC version of "The Wizard of Oz". Last year we performed "Peter Pan" and had our first experience with ZFX. We loved it so much we just had to go with double the amount of flying the next year (this year). The ZFX experience is one that no theater teacher or director should be without! I cant even begin to relay to you the professionalism and superior treatment given to us by everyone we have had contact with at ZFX. From Katie keeping everything in check, to our flying director Russell, who is a saint in himself, we couldn't ask for anything more. (In fact we always get MORE than we expect!) Russell is the best, his professionalism, enthusiasm, and consciousness to safety and training is superb! If all of your flying directors are as great as Russell, you guys have a gold mine on your hands just in personality! For the first time ever we sold out our second weekend before we even got to it. The show was incredible and was received by our school and community with rave revues, due in no small part to your awesome company and the people you have chosen to be a part of your team, and what a team it is! “Thank you SOOOOOOOOOO much for everything you've done for us! Jon was great, and we had a real blast working with him! Opening went wonderfully, except that an op accidently let a cable slip up into the rafters right before the wicked witch was to appear!! (Aghhhhhh!! Murphy's law i guess). So we had to skip the glinda and wicked witch flights in act 1, but we fixed the problem at intermission! The audience still got most of the tornado scene (and gave a big round of applause when the bike went skyward!), and everything in Act 2 went perfectly!
The reactions have been great so far! I couldn't be happier with everything you guys have done for us! I'll give you a call next week to let you know how the rest of the run went! Thanks again, and tell Jon I said hello and thank you!”
